Dental Receptionist, Full-Time (2+years of Experience Required)
Join a thriving, community-focused dental office in Chilliwack that has been a trusted provider of dental care for years! We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Dental Receptionist to become a key member of this friendly and professional team. This office is a close-knit group of 2 RDHs, 3 CDAs, 1 Office Manager, 2 receptionists, and 1 Dentist, with the exciting potential to add a second dentist soon.

Schedule:
Monday through Saturday ( 5 days per week/ 8 hour days)
2 Saturdays per month
1 Closing Shift per Week
Compensation:
$28-$32/hr
Medical/Dental Benefits after 3 month Probationary period.
$500 Uniform Allowance
Job Description:
Scheduling and Patient Management:
- Manage and optimize the hygiene schedule to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Confirm, reschedule, and follow up on hygiene appointments to minimize cancellations and no-shows.
- Communicate with patients to educate them on the importance of regular hygiene visits and address any concerns or questions.
- Coordinate treatment plans and recall reminders for hygiene patients, using the dental practice management software.
Front Office Support:
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages related to hygiene scheduling and general inquiries
- Verify and update patient records, including personal information, medical history, and insurance details.
- Maintain accurate and organized hygiene recall systems to ensure timely follow-ups.
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed, including filing, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace
- Previous dental office experience, preferably in a front desk or hygiene coordination role.
- Proficiency in dental practice management software tracker.-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and providers.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and a customer-focused attitude.
- Certification in dental office administration or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with local dental insurance policies and regulations.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations with patience and tact
