Job Description:
- Comprehensive Care: Examine patients' teeth, periodontium, and surrounding tissues to diagnose conditions such as disease, injury, and decay. Develop and implement preventive or corrective treatment plans.
- Diverse Procedures: Provide a wide range of dental services, including direct and indirect restorations, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pedodontics.
- Patient Monitoring: Track patient progress to detect changes or the progression of dental conditions. Prescribe medications, such as antibiotics, as needed.
- Specialist Referrals: Refer patients to dental specialists for advanced procedures when necessary.
- Team Leadership: Supervise dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other support staff.
- Sedation Administration: Administer Nitrous Oxide and limited sedatives to ensure patient comfort.
Required Qualifications :
- Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program ( Canadian or American Dental Institutions) or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
- Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements. ( Assistance may be provided if licensed elsewhere
- Strong command of the English language, both written and oral.
- Valid CPR certification
Qualifications:
1 to 2 years of experience is preferred, but a recent grad will be considered. Experience is secondary to being highly motivated to learn, humble and open-minded and community based.. If you have an ambition to grow and become a top-performing dentist in our profession, we would love to talk.
